Open call for participants in the project “United against corruption”
The project “United against corruption” supported by USAID’s Civic Engagement Project as part of the LEAD MK Fellowship program is inviting all interested young people aged between 18-26 years old to submit their applications for participation. The project is consisted of three phases:
1.Workshops in Skopje, Shtip and Struga with young people about the impact of corruption in the society;
2.Producing specific youth-friendly products for actions against corruptions (essays, creative posters with messages, etc.) and publishing a booklet with summary of essays;
3.Linking project’s participants with key stakeholders that work on anticorruption (study visit) with a goal to learn from their experience and share best practices.
The main goal of the project is to contribute to engage young men and women in efforts to prevent and denounce corruption in Macedonia. In addition, it aims to raise the awareness of youth on the negative impact of corruption in the society and the life of young people, respectively. This project will also equip youth with knowledge and tools that help them take actions against corruption.
Selected participants will participate in one of the three workshops. The workshops will be held on the following dates:
Workshop in Skopje – 02.04.2018;
Workshop in Shtip – 26.03.2018;
Workshop in Struga – 22.03.2018;
Participants will have to actively engage to all the phases of the project, including a final event in Skopje after the study visit where participants will be given a certificate for a successful participation. The study visit includes lectures in public institutions, embassies, international organizations and CSOs. Meals, refreshment and travelling to Skopje for the study visit will be covered by the organizers.
